It was my first engagement as a Toronto Area Wedding Pianist. Since then, over the past twelve years, I've enjoyed playing for many Toronto area weddings. But I'll always remember that first one. Toronto Area Wedding?
If you're one half or both halves of a couple that will be getting married, are in the GTA, and are looking for an experienced Toronto Area Wedding Pianist to play for your wedding (either for both the ceremony and cocktails/dinner or just for the latter), please consider me for your special day. I'd love to play for you! Weddings really are my favourite occasion to play at. Why? Well, as I enjoy playing beautiful and timeless classic love songs (Please feel free to sample the ones on the Listen To Clips page), I feel very much in my element when I play at weddings. For your wedding, in addition to beautiful and timeless classic love songs, I'd also draw upon a wide array of extremely romantic and popular classical piano pieces (e.g. 'Liebestraum' & 'Clair de Lune') which you and your guests would be sure to enjoy. You wouldn't have to sing 'Some Enchanted Evening', but I can promise you that I'd do my very best to add to the enchantment of your special day! I can also promise you excellent rates and references.
Rates
2 consecutive hours (or less): $350.00
3 consecutive hours: $400.00
4 consecutive hours: $450.00
The above rates apply to one block of playing-time. If there are two blocks of playing-time, with a gap in time between them (e.g., I play for the ceremony in the afternoon and for cocktails/dinner in the evening), the first hour of the second block is either $100.00 for a gap of one hour, or $150.00 for a gap of two hours or more. Each additional hour is (as above) $50.00.
No piano? No problem.
For an additional &100.00, I can supply a professional digital keyboard with suitable amplification, as well as a microphone for speeches. This additional charge includes my arriving early to set everything up.
Booking
After consulting with the bride &/or groom to be and determining the total number of hours I'm to play for, I prepare a simple deposit-contract. This deposit-contract includes all pertinent information such as the date, time, location, total amount, amount payed (half of the total amount), and amount payable (at the wedding). The bride &/or groom to be and myself meet briefly for the booking which involves the following two steps: 1) The bride &/or groom to be pay(s) me for half of the total amount. 2) The bride &/or groom to be and myself sign two copies of the deposit-contract and retain one copy each.
